About Wachovia Fabric Art Founder - Robin Ross

Robin's love affair with fabric started at age 8 when she began designing and making all her own clothes. Throughout her busy and successful professional career as a violist, she dazzled her colleagues with her self-designed wardrobe, homey quilts and useful items for string players.

Robin received her Bachelor of Music degree in viola from USC. She is a freelance musician in the Los Angeles recording, television, film and theatre industries.

She is a founding member of the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and has performed with the Los Angeles Opera, Pasadena and Long Beach Symphonies.

She has worked with such major composers and artist, Jerry Goldsmith, Elmer Berstein, John Williams, James Horner, James Newton-Howard, Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, Peobo Bryson, Roberta Flack, Dionne Warwick, Whitney Houston, Kenny Rogers, Smokey Robinson etc.

She has toured Europe, Asia and Africa with various ensembles, and is a founding member of the viola quartet named Gaia Viola Ensemble.

Musical theatre credits: Phantom of the Opera at the Ahmanson and Pantages Theatres, Joseph and the Technocolor Dream Coat, The King and I, Camelot, The Sound of Music, Fiddler on the Roof and many more.

Performances with major Ballet companies: Joffrey Ballet, Houston Ballet, American Ballet and the Bolshoi Ballet.

Feature film credits on over 150 movies: Home Alone 2, Jurrasic Park, Titanic, Bruce Almighty, to name a few.
